Newport Community and Recreation Center
The Newport Community Action Committee is a volunteer organization responsible for the Newport Recreation Center. The Recreation Center funding is obtained primarily through fund-raising events and donations from the community.
We welcome new volunteers! There are a variety of ways that you can help out. Attend our Board Meetings to find out more!

~~~~Volunteer your skills and offer a program or workshop
~~~~Volunteer as a Committee Member - Finance/Audit Committee, Maintenance/Building Committee, Fundraising/Fund Development Committee, Advertising and Marketing Committee, and Programming Committee.
This Center can not exist without the help of contributions from YOU!
Your monetary donations help to keep our lights on and doors open as well as establishing various programs and services for our community!

DONATE ONLINE through PayPal:
General Maintenance Fund:
Our General Maintenance Fund has been established for the repair and maintenance of the facility. This includes the Building and its grounds. We are currently working to repair the outside Basketball Court and replace broken windows.
General Operating Fund
Donations to our General Operating Fund help defray the costs associated with the monthly expenses and general upkeep of the Recreation Center. This fund also helps to keep the costs of community private rentals to a minimum.
