Newport Recreation and Community Center

     DoSomething.org is one of the largest organizations in the United States that helps young people rock causes they care about. A driving force in creating a culture of volunteerism, DoSomething.org is on track to activate two million young people in 2011. One way we accomplish this goal is through Clubs program. There are over 1400 Clubs registered and taking action in their community.

The Giles County Do Something Club is part of DoSomething.org. Anyone under the age of 25 can join. It doesn't matter where you live or what school you attend. Our Club offers youths an opportunity to have a voice in our community and rock cause the WE CARE ABOUT!

One of our recent large projects is to hold an Arts Exhibition in March, 2011 that celebrates our Society, Culture and Values. This project promotes Arts Education as well as our local rural cultural values. More information will be coming soon. We are looking for members all the time.
