The Newport Village Council oversees the Clover Hollow Covered Bridge in Newport. We make minor repairs to the bridge and take care of landscaping around the bridge. We also sell the personalized bricks that are in the walkway as well as sell pewter ornaments of the bridge. Meetings are normally the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (contact Robin Hypes at 544-7416 or robinh@vt.edu for exact dates and/or place).
